Matt is a miracle worker. I'd recently moved from abroad to a townhouse in Crozet and thus was furnishing a large two-bedroom from scratch, which entailed A LOT of furniture purchases. I managed to get the bare essentials assembled upon move-in, but then life took over and the rest sat in boxes waiting to be put together, next to even more boxes stacked up and full of packing material.

Matt came in, did a quick walk-through with me and then spent the better part of the week working his magic — hauling out trash and packing materials, assembling furniture, transforming my enormous piles of clothing into two beautifully-organized (and color-coded!) closets.

At the end of the week, opening my door felt like walking into an entirely new space... one that no longer stressed me out just to look at. Can't recommend his services enough — he can truly do it all.

 “My wife and I originally hired Matt in 2019 to help us after my mother in law very suddenly came to live with us. We needed help sorting, organizing and making decisions about my mother in laws possessions. This process was not easy and took someone who was thoughtful and courteous but also motivational.

Because we had such a great experience working with Matt the first time, we hired him again to help us sort through our own ‘29 years-worth of accumulated stuff’ with the goal of transforming our basement from a large, messy storage area to a 1,600 square foot mother in law suite. This task seemed completely overwhelming to us. Matt patiently worked alongside me and my wife for over a week sorting, decluttering, purging, organizing and boxing everything we owned.  

After multiple trips to charities, trash hauls, giveaways to friends and renting a storage unit, he helped us to empty out our basement for the renovations to be completed for the apartment. When the renovations were completed Matt returned to help us bring our belongings from storage, set up the new living space and organize 2 major storage areas in our home.

Finally, we hired Matt a third time to completely declutter, purge and reorganize our garage.  We could not be happier with how all three of these projects turned out!

In the end our goal for decluttering and renovating our home by year’s end of 2019 was miraculously accomplished and we simply could not have reached our goal without Matt’s expertise.
